Who's the Smart One?

I am writing this post for the Trifextra Week 51 Writing Challenge where we are to write exactly 33 words inspired by one of three pictures.  I chose the picture below.

Look at those people down there.  I'll bet thousands of them are desparately trying to find a bathroom, but they're all locked up in the City. Dumbasses!  I can take a dump anywhere!

Your comments are appreciated.

  1. Also like men not having a bathroom line. Quite a view too! Fun, lumdog.

    1. Thanks Gina. Yeah, I guess it's cool to not have to wait in line, but the birds still have it best!

  2. This is a melding of the two main pigeon themes I have seen. Pooping and the freedom of the air. Nicely done!

  3. As I read the posts for this particular prompt, and I read just about all of them, I am increasingly amused at the language being used. "Poop bomb", "Dumbasses", "Shat", etc. What is it about this innocent pigeon that is bringing out the potty mouth in everyone? :) lol

    1. Well, I guess my initial response is that the pigeon is hardly innocent. He is indscriminate regarding where or on whom he drops his, uh, "droppings" (is that more delicate?) Morevoer, just read Gina's piece. I think birds have traumatized her life. As always, thanks for your comments.

  5. Ok, I'm feeling very sorry now for pigeons. It's a good thing they have bird brains and have no idea or care how we see them. :)

  9. Great story. It was very cute but got me to thinking that animals, if they were to understand our habits, would most likely consider us insane for stuff like that.

  10. Nice. This made me laugh. I've always wondered what the pigeons thought.

    1. I think many writers have tried to get inside the head of a pigeon this weekend. Sounds sort of silly. ;). Thanks Wisper.
