The Cure

I’m on a high wire;

I might fall into the abyss

My head spins, my heart stops and my stomach flops

I’m a train wreck…

Does this Xanax stuff really work?.....For hyperbole?

I wrote this for the Trifextra Week 55 Writing Challenge where we are to write 33 words using hyperbole.

    1. Yeah, maybe. Like you, I never had one.

      But the bigger problem is the cure for overuse of hyperbole. Maybe an intensive writing class? :)

  12. Ha! This is great! Love the train wreck imagery. Also, if the makers of Xanax get wind of this I'm sure hyperbole will be listed as one of the things it can fix. ;)

  15. I think that you did a great job with the hyperbole, as long as you didn't drive or operate heavy machinery.

    1. Thanks Guap. Never thought of sleep as a cure for over the top writing but I won't buck your advice. If there were only a cure for puns! :)
