If you think you are right 100% of the time, then, it is more likely than not (50%+1) you are an arrogant ass or an ignorant ass, or, worst scenario of all, both!
_________
I wrote this for Trifextra Week 41 where we are to write a 33 word composition that contains a probability equation.
LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteoh yes.. let's hope the RIGHT people read it. ;)
TGIF!!!
Thanks Kir. Sad to say, the people who need to read it won't get it!

DeleteI concur! HA! :D
ReplyDeleteThank you Linda. I can't wait to read yours.
DeleteAh the controlling partner of idiocy. Some people have cornered the market on it!
ReplyDeleteWell Done!
I had a few people in mind when I wrote this. Thanks BT.
DeleteIndeed, so true. I have a neighbor like this. And quite a few tv pundits fill the bill. Nicely done, lumdog.
ReplyDeleteThank you Strphanie. Congrats on your piece. Very well done!
DeleteProbably one of my biggest pet peeves; the ones who insist they're always right. I don't argue but I think, "You ass!". Loved this! And worded perfectly, too! See you next week ;-) for some fun!
ReplyDeleteThank you Gina. I run into people like this all the time. It's actually a sad affliction.
DeleteYeah, also looking forward to anniversary challenge. :)
Deletei love this! too true.
ReplyDeleteThanks Estelle.
DeleteIf only some of my customers saw the truth in these words...! A lot of them are pains in the...ass lol
ReplyDeleteYes, but by the nature of their "affliction", these people don't ever get it.
DeleteAnd thanks for commenting Draug.
DeleteOhhhh yeah .People like that make me SO mad.
ReplyDeleteI've written about some politicians who are like this. Unfortunately, I sometimes have to work with them. Thanks Jessie.
DeleteJust what I needed... an ass rule! Your math definitely works for me, and I find that arrogance and ignorance usually go hand in hand... or is it ass in - oh, never mind. Loved it. Amy

How about "ass to the second power" since the combination is far worst than the mere sum of these traits? Thank you Amy :)
ReplyDeleteOnly .5+1 probability? That's a very optimistic view. LOL
ReplyDeleteEric, I am cringing because you are so right! While I am usually an optimist, this piece was clearly written by my secret cynical persona (who emerges 6.3% of the time), so the number should have been 99.9 or higher!
DeleteArrogant ignorant - worst scenario - you got it so right.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ruby. Yep, it's a deadly combination.
DeleteHa ha! So true.
ReplyDeleteThank you BGN. I will drop by your site.
ReplyDeleteyou're wrong, I'm right. Do you see what I did there? Funny 33, lum.
ReplyDeleteMmm, I think you could be right. Nah. Thanks Lance.
ReplyDeleteHa! So true! Very well written.
ReplyDeleteThank you Bo.
DeleteBringing me in mind of Vonnegut's pissant.
ReplyDeleteYeah, that's about right. Thanks Kymm.
DeleteVery, very true, indeed. Except those arrogant/ignorant people wouldn't actually know it, right?
ReplyDeleteExactly. Thanks Sandra.
DeleteSo true. (RogRites)
ReplyDeleteThanks Rog.
ReplyDeleteToo bad the ignorant/arrogant people think you wrote this about someone else. Denial is a powerful thing :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Janna. Even more true for the arrogant ones!
DeleteYou've created the perfect equation here. I'm sure of it. "An arrogant ass and an ignorant ass walk into a bar. . ." You've already got a great lead in for another Trifextra!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Tri. I'll work on that.
DeleteHow true! FANTASTIC.
ReplyDeleteThank you Christine.
DeleteLOL A lot of truth in that. My thesis is that a woman's place is in the wrong; ergo, I am never right.
ReplyDeleteThanks Viv. In my world, there are a lot of smart women, so I have to compete for the title. Truth is, nobody is always right.
