My Urges

In my cold, dark room,
I have urges
I need to act on these urges

I love things...

Young children
Animals with cloven hooves
Small, bearded men
Stockings
Plump women
Ho ho ho!
________

I wrote this for Trifextra 43 where we are supposed to write about "our" favorite things in exactly 33 words.

  12. Oh I do so dearly love it when Santa is warped. He is like my least favorite thing about all of this season, and this one makes my little heart smile smile smile.

    1. Thanks Jessie. What bugs me are the mall Santas, where kids have to wait in line to see some old geezer in a fake beard. Hey, I forgot, I'm old enough to play Santa now, so forget that old geezer comment!

    2. Mel, thanks for pointing that out. I hadn't intended for Santa to be thought of as creepy in this piece, but if that's the case, I'd rather it be clear it's him and not me! :)
